Mission Statement

Education and Entertainment activities

The Mona Lisa Code is a specific field of public interest presented as one of the great discoveries and cultural treasures of human history. It is a vivid glimpse into the genius and wonder of Leonardo da Vinci, and it provides an unprecedented understanding of symbolism that lies at the heart of hidden religious traditions dating back in time over two thousand years.

“The Mona Lisa Code” is the title used by Scott Lund in his ground-breaking 2010 copyrighted article exposing the symbolic meaning behind Leonardo's iconic painting - the Mona Lisa. The title is currently being used both for Lund's film documentary project and for his continuing literary efforts and upcoming book release. He is creating, producing, and distributing, videos, books, and digital media on the subject of the Mona Lisa Code, which includes music, video, film concept, and script development.

Lund intends the Mona Lisa Code to form the basis for a new paradigm in education. He is developing an initiative directed at mentoring children and teenagers, and providing them with an educational model for inquiry and discovery that transcends conventional teaching techniques. Using the Mona Lisa Code as a model for inspired analytical thinking through multidisciplinary research and investigative techniques, Lund believes that youth can strive for genius by developing their subconscious minds as a means for problem solving, subliminal communication, and creative expression. He is exploring ways to achieve genius in youth through the example of Leonardo da Vinci himself. Lund is now working with a nonprofit organization in the area of child development and new educational research, pledging the Mona Lisa Code enterprise to help support the above goals.

Toward these worthwhile goals the question is asked: “What would da Vinci do?” The answer seems quite clear. In keeping with da Vinci's character, Lund will use a multifarious ingenuity in providing for entertainment and educational services concerning the Mona Lisa Code, including exhibitions of cultural value utilizing varied methods of electronic communication and display. These may include, but are not limited to: website content including photographic, audio, and video presentations; a continuing program or series accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video, and computer networks; material distributed to mobile handsets; on-line activities and interactive exhibits; 3D and virtual reality; presentation of educational travel tours, seminars, lectures, workshops, and panel discussions; and ongoing television and radio talk shows in the field of public interest generally defined as: “The Mona Lisa Code.”
